XM8 Series adds Bishop2 to lineup CLICK HERE
XM8 Series Bishop2 (the original Bishop has been renamed the DT Knight/50) has a 12×24 engraveable area, with side to side pass-thru but what sets this apart from anything else on the market is there is no base, just a table that can do down to the floor, remove this table and now you 're allowing for nearly unlimited thickness of materials. A first in the laser industry!
With the table installed there is a more than usable 13.75” depth, but for those thick products simply remove the table and there is now a 34.5” depth, from lens assembly to the floor. Need additional depth, no problem, simply place the Bishop2 onto the optional support structure and the depth becomes a HUGE 4 feet (48”) or if a customer chooses to, can design or utilize their own support structure for as thick an item needed to engrave as necessary.
CheckMate Lasers had been asked many times in the past couple of years to build a machine to accommodate extremely thick materials, although we thought our King & Queen systems with their 21.5? depth (the deepest in the laser industry, mind you) was sufficient, we’ve had requests for as deep as 43 inches. Now CheckMate Lasers is the only laser company that can accommodate any height product without a problem.
The once deepest engraveable area in the laser industry of 21.5” is now superseded by the Bishop2 at 34.5” or more...

CheckMate Lasers adds CNC Router to lineup CLICK HERE
CNC 4×8 Router: This is the first router from the CheckMate Lasers factory and it is very solidly built and runs extremely well yet very simple to operate. It ships standard with a vacuum table that has 6 quadrants that can be individually turned on or off allowing for a solid suction in only the areas required. The CNC48 Router system also ships with vacuum pump, a controller pad and 5 cutting bits.
No software is included. Although XM8 has optional software available it has been determined that many companies already have an existing software package or would like a different option than we have available, that said the CNC48 Router is compatible with a wide variety of standard CNC applications, such as the ones used while testing the new system, i.e., ArtCam, Type3, etc. So customers can utilize their desired software application.
This system is considered as a “Mid-Range Model” but with a “Low-End Model” price structure as noted at this website that describes “CNC Router Prices” what sort of CNC router to expect based on price range.
