Welcome back to the XM8 Newsletter, this newsletter issue is in response to the unusual amount of requests recently as to what new markets and products to target now that the current economic turmoil has caused sales to drop as low as 30% to we’ve heard as much as 60% drop in business. Our Canadian based contributing writer Errol Barr fortunately has a well written article addressing this issue covering the many types of buyers and industries of laser engraved products. At the very least there may be something is his wide reaching article that stimulates your interest and get your competitive juices flowing.

Another big request for whatever reason has been working with glass. This is one product in an industry that is still selling very well. Our other in-house contributing writer and co-founder of Atomic Art Thom Price has put together a great article on working with Safety Glass. Another article to compliment this one would be “Glass Engraving Trips & Tricks” I’ve regurgitated from years back for one of my many projects that helps in working with this finicky but very profitable material.
